Nope, wasn't me, but Jim Moose may have made that representation, and in fact, the cal 3303 is a great movement and itself a great technical achievment, but it did have its problems early in its life. Not sure what the difference is between the 3301 and 3303 as they both have the same jewel count, maybe its just an aesthetic difference.

The only difference I have seen between the US edition seamaster and the Black version is obviously the dial color, special silver for the US and the depth designation in feet only, as opposed to Meters/feet. Case/bracelet/movement same. Not really sure why Omega decided to issue a US edition, as the feet reference on all the other dials I assumed was meant to appease the US market. I think Omega just likes doing special editions so they can charge more for the same product.
