Omega watch's value

Hello everyone,

I am wondering that how much does a brand new Omega watch hold its value along with time? (lets say the watch is in excellent condition) Right now, since the economical downturn hit us hard, the used value of watch drops as well. So I am wondering if a nice brand watch still keeps its value? I know Omega increases their sticker price on their watch along with time, I am not sure if it's the same way with the used watch market.
