I like the 'original' cal. 2500 models (I have a 2504.50).
I'm unconvinced by the new cal. 8500 ones (pictured).
The 'teck dials' are interesting (anything that looks like a Riva can't be bad). It's the detailing that seems less well resolved than the older ones. The new Omega badge is beautifully executed (with recesseded joining bars between the letters) and the bracelet links without the holes look neat. it's just the rather 'bling' dial detailing that seems to be a bit OTT.
