This is a monocoque case. The movement is accessed from the front of the watch and needs a special tool to remove the crsyal.

One disengages the crown and releases the movement from the case. It is probably a cal 560 17 jewel movement imported directly into US by Norman Morris who cased the watches there.

You will probably need a watchmaker to open for you, and while he's at it, it may be a good idea to get the watch serviced.
