Sitting at a Table for 6; Best Spot Saved for the Watches
In Response To: Allow me Sam................. ()

This particular gathering is held at a Buckhead breakfast spot that is frequented by the rich and famous; our group of five Watch Idiots [who are we kidding about the "Savant" part?] sits at a prominent table for six, with the best spot reserved for the watches. When the waiter comes to take their orders, the Idiots are offended when he fails to acknowledge the presence of the watches.

For the next 90 minutes, our group alternates between (a) chatting with each other, in the style of normal human beings [this is probably 20% of their time], (b) admiring the watches [probably 50% of their time], and (c) strangest of all, taking photos of the watches [probably 30% of their time]. At some point, the waiter notices that they have not even touched their food, but they tell him that that's really not an important part of a WIS breakfast, and they prefer that he clear away the food. He clears the table, being careful not to drop anything on the watches, and hopes that these guys will be generous with the tip.

Other people in the restaurant notice all this strangeness, but dismiss the group as a bunch of whackos.
