Re: Buying an old Omega Seamaster, need quick tips!

Hi Tom,
reason may be that the dial has been re-written/serviced and the workshop didn´t a perfect job. Usally there is at "6" swiss or swiss made indicated.

Age fits more or less, although could be something between late 50íes and mid sixties. You could cross check with the calibre if this is an original watch as well. Ask the seller.

: Hi,

: I've got an offer to buy this old Omega Seamaster with a blue
: alligator Hirsch strap.

: The seller thinks it's early 60's and as you can see it's in mint
: condition (pictures in link below):

: I'm wondering why there isn't the "Swiss Made" text at
: the bottom of the "face" (do you call it face?) Is it
: replaced? Would be sad if it's not original.

: Any other hints/tips or stuff to "look out for"?

: I'm getting it for 4000 SEK (578.058 USD) with the box.

: Thanks
