Hi!

I have a Speedmaster and Seamaster and my red dot wore off in a few months.
It has no real function other than to tell the retailer that the watch has not been tampered with since leaving Omega and arriving in their shop. It will not void your warranty. As long as you have a stamped warranty card, everything is ok.
