Re: To restore a dial, or leave as is?

Well, I received the watch back from Swiss Time Services today.

First impression was what a good job they did on the dial and case. It really does look 'as new' (I know, I know - patina can be nice, this one's wasn't :p ).

However, a few problems which I'm waiting to hear back from STS about - I paid for an Omega brown leather strap to be fitted. This was not done. The site also promised me that the watch would come back in a nice presentation box (a red Omega box is pictured) along with a certificate detailing the work done and information about the piece. It came in a cardboard box. A plain brown one. No certificate. Bit shoddy considering these guys are Omega authorized and the price they charge. Feeling a bit... underwhelmed, to be honest.

Once I get some resolution on the issues (may take a while. The guy who'll be giving me a response is 'sick'), I'll post pics and the outcome.
