SCAN DAY = Diver Day :-)

Hi guys,
Here's my Diver for today.

first a few details.

Case Ref 166.091
Calibre 1002 ( as in the PloProf or 1000M )
Date of manufacture : approx 1969

This is an interesting watch. It has the same movement it's "big brothers" the 600m ( PloProf ) & 1000M.

Whereas the PloProf is currently fetching anywhere from $2000 upwards & a 1000M is from $3500 upwards now, you can still find this model for under $500 .

Optically it is very simliar to the 1000M. It has a screw back ( the 1000M is a monoblock case ), screwdown crown & bi-directional bezel.

I particularly like the Black date wheel & Black hands on the watch.

Anyway enough waffle.... here are some ( rather large) pics

Finally, If anyone out there knows of any leaflets/brochures containing this watch, I'd be very interested.

Steve
