Omega 351 bumper *PIC*

I was wondering if anybody had any thoughts about my find. I plan to give this to my dad sunday for father's day. Its an Omega Automatic with a 351 bumper movt. I got it on ebay for $200. Reportedly the owner's father died in 1960 and it sat in a drawer since. It smells like it. Any way I believe the guy because he had a lot of other stuff of his parents from the 50's and 60's to sell and it is in very nice shape. I replaced the speidel band with a new leather one and a 60's vintage Omega SS buckle. It keeps great time, the insides look great, I polished the crystal of all but the deepest scratches. The crown isn't omega but overall very nice. The face has only 2 tiny age spots and the case is free of any big problems besides a small amount of pitting on the back. According to the owner it was from 1950 and the serial #12639XXX seems to bear this out. I have learned it is known as a Pre-Seamaster seamaster, identical besides the name. It just says automatic. Any advice or information would be much appreciated. Thanks again remember I'm a newbie.
