It all depends on your needs. The two watches basically have the same movement, with the DeVille having the added power reserve module. The DeVille is strictly a dress watch, while the Planet Ocean is a sporty diver's watch. The Panet Ocean is MUCH thicker, larger, and heavier.

I guess what I'm saying is that these two models are really night and day, so it's like comparing apples to oranges. Since they both have equal quality movements, go with the watch that best suits your needs, be it a dress watch or a rugged sports watch.
