One Other Suggestion....

: Hi all
: I bought a brand new Seamaster Pro 300m
: (2531.80) with serial number 810709XX ,
: question is , from the serial number itself,
: when was this particular piece produced? Is
: there anyway to check the manufacture
: date/month/year?

Since you just bought it new, the best way to find out the date of manufacture is to simply order the watch's COSC certificate. This will list the date the movement was tested by COSC and certified as a chronometer. It is 100% free of charge as long as you purchased the watch from an authorized dealer.

Just send an e-mail to aftersales@omega.ch with a scan or digital photo of your dealer stamped and dated warranty card. Include your mailing address in the e-mail as well. You should receive the certificate in 2-4 weeks.
