It ain't a GMT unless...

It's got a 24h bezel....IMO.

A 24 hour HAND without a 24 hour BEZEL is kinda' pointless. The ease/utility of the GMT function is reduced because you have to reset the hands to read two different timezones. This is my same complaint about the Bond GMT.

With a "true" GMT (Omega black or white face GMT), all you need to do to keep track of two timezones simultaneously is turn the bezel and then you can.... fuhgetaboutit. (I own an Omega black face GMT. It is a great traveling watch.)

If you really want a GMT with chronograph capability, check out the Tutime FX UTC with 24 hour bezel. This is the ONLY watch of its kind that I have found in the entire watch market.

I am a big Omega fan...don't get me wrong. I just think that these so-called "GMTs" without a moveable 24 bezel are just silly. Yes, that means the Rolex Explorer II is silly also. The Rolex GMT II is a very functional piece.
