Re: change bracelet on Seamaster 300M Quartz

: I'm surprised they told you that. The 2254.50
: used to come on a Bond bracelet when it was
: model 2054.50, so I know that the two
: bracelets are interchangeable. A gray market
: site called authenticwatches.com even sells
: the Bond SMP on the Speedy bracelet, but
: they give it a fake model number since Omega
: doesn't sell the watch this way.

Yeah, I saw both the watch and the bracelet on that site as well... This watch was a gift from my wife... If I had done my own research, I probably would have gone gray and gotten it with the bracelet I wanted and used the savings (both on the purchase price and the bracelet) for any non-warranty repairs...

Besides, I don't think I got a good rep on the phone. She seemed almost insulted that I would think of doing such a thing and said that, "Omega doesn't normally allow customers to do that." Very frosty attitude... So I ended up firing off my own e-mail to omega.ch asking if them for compatibility info the part # for the bracelets on either the 2264.50 or 2265.80 since they're currently displayed alongside my 2541.80 in the same "Seamaster 300 M Quartz" section of their website...

Thanks for all your help...

Carlo
