Cheap winders from auction site

Has anyone tried those $10 winders (with the $50 in shipping so that the 'bay cannot take their cut from the true price of the item...) on *inexpensive* watches? I'm not putting my Omegas on them until I figure out if they're reasonably built and safe for the movements, but I have a couple Miyota-inside divers, and older ETA watch, a Seiko 5, etc. too; these watches were stop-gaps until I got the SMP and I can't toss them out, nor can I keep them all wound... Any thoughts? Does the winder stay together for any length of time? Does it sound like a Gatling gun? Does it keep watches wound etc.?

The source seems to be mainland China and I don't know if the motors are all the same or what. Anyone got the scoop?
