Question about installing a nylon band on Bond GMT

I am looking at purchasing several heavy duty nylon bands for my Bond Seamaster GMT. A couple of questions:

1. I have seen two general types of nylon bands available: a single piece of nylon which passes through the bars on either side and runs underneath the case OR a two piece version with one piece attached separately to each side of the case. Is there any reason why one would be more preferable or durable over the other?

2. Once I removed the steel bracelet, would I need to order separate spring bars to install the nylon band or is this already fixed to the case? Are there any compatibility issues I should be aware of?
