Always Keep The Boxes and Accessories..
In Response To: Re: Warranty papers on a SMP ()

: Thanks John!

: One question. Is the white outer box worth
: saving or is it just an average cardboard
: box? My cousin had another, cheaper watch
: sent by the guy in Liberia and the box was
: then covered with duct tape and I believe
: that he wants to do the same with my watch
: for his own convenience.

DO NOT throw away that box or anything else that came with the watch. Keeping all of the original factory accessories, including the white outer box, allows the watch to hold more resale value. You'll notice a lot of the for sale ads on the internet saying "with all boxes and papers". This is a big selling point. If you throw away that box you can't say that.

If you plan to keep the watch for the rest of your life and never resell it, then you don't need that box for anything. Otherwise, you should never throw away any original factory accessories that come with the watch.

Enjoy the watch,
John
