My father died 6 years ago with £1,000 in the bank and a Gold 1958 Omega on his wrist. The dial was in a bad way and I nearly turned it down when my mother offered it to me. He had it on his wrist all of my life and I didn't know what it was and he never told me. I got dial restored and it is good as new, and still keeps perfect time.
Now I have had an Aqua Terra on my wrist for 4 years or so and no-one has ever commented. And, like my father, I have never boasted. I prefer it that way ....
