Re: SMP2254.50 vs PlanetOcean2200.50. Whats your t *LINK* *PIC*

: I own a SMP2254.50 and I love it. But
: PlanetOcean 2200.50 do appeal to me with its
: new bezel, arrow-styled hands and co-xial
: escapement movement. I was thinking if I
: have not already bought the 2254.50, will I
: pay the premium to go with a PlanetOcean
: instead? What is your take? Will you pay the
: premium for the newer look and the co-axial
: BTW, what is the different between co-axial and
: SMP2254's 1120 calibre?
: technology?

I personally would go for the PO, as I like the look of the watch (slightly better than the 2254.50) and also because of te Co-Axial technology. From what I understand the Co-Axial technology allows the movement to work with less friction, which allows it to be more accurate and also go longer periods without being serviced (though there is always debate on that subject.)
Currently I am sure I will someday own the PO and it may be my next Omega, though the Bond SMP GMT is also in the running. It is abou the same price as the PO, but also has a GMT function, plus I love the styling...but to answer your question, I would go with the Planet Ocean. I have included a picture of the Bond SMP GMT and a link to Omega's website that has info on the Co-Axial technology.
Have a great weekend!!
