Thanks for the note. I DID send the watch in to Omega and they did tell me it could not be replired wich for a broken pin between the band the base of the watch - I can not believe - I really thing that they just wanted to sell me another bracelette for $550. I asked them, Omega to repair this and not replace this - but the customer service rep said that the tech insisted this has to be done -

Yes the watch is new and I have taken good care of it - it was my 40th bd present to myself and I hope to keep it till I die and then give it to the kids kind of thing..

I do need to and will post some pictues and It will be very easy to see this! a picture says a 1000 words - I am just waiting for my wtach to be shipped back from Omega - maybe I got a bad service tech there? can you advise any other service / repair places?
