Chuck, thanks for the input, I didn't think about the different parts they may try to install. I will tell them 100% Orignal.

Well, I'd tell them that you which to maintain originality and to contact you (provide email addresses, etc.) if they propose any significant changes.

I am wondering about the shipping. Who to use, Who would be best to ship with?

Ask them who they recommend.

Do I need to go to a Customs office and show them the watch or just fill out the form?

I'd ask for advice at your local Post Office.

You pic is the exact model, with the 1-24 hr outer dial. I love it, got it new in 1974 and bought another one just last year for my sons graduation in 3 more years.

To borrow the title off of a fine Creedence Clearwater Revival (John Fogerty) song... A very Fortunate Son...

I am worried about sending it off.

Understandable.

I sent it to get a new crystal and resealed about 15 years ago, but that was then and now we have the swatch group

Well... hate to tell you think but Omega was part of the Swatch Group 15 years ago too, but I suspect that things were much better back then.

and I don't trust them here in America. ( Am I wrong? )

No, you're probably not. If you can source a crystal (email me and I'll send you some places that might have 'em) servicing a c.861 is a pretty straightforward task for a competent watchmaker (and I can refer a couple if you'd like). Otherwise it's probably best to send the watch to Switzerland.

I would post a photo of them but I'm not sure how to put in a url below to the pic.

Well... You don't need to do anything special to put the url in the "image address" part of the form. Of course you have to have the picture stored at a pointable place on the web (not on your computer's hard drive). The HTML you'd need to type in to include a picture is:

<img src=http://www.yourhostingsitename.com/directoryname/filename.jpg_or_.gif>

So:<img src=http://home.xnet.com/~cmaddox/omega/watches/seamaster/145_019/145.019_12_24seamaster_6_18_macro.jpg>

Will produce:

Thanks, Ken

Hope this is helpful...
