Speedy Chronograph Hour subdial question

i believe this uses cal 3301.

whenever i use the chronograph feature... i see that the minute subdial does not increment until the second hand makes a complete revolution... which is great!

however, i notice that the hour subdial hand slowly moves. when the minute subdial hits 30 (half hour mark), i see the hour subdial hand in between markers (say between 00 and the 01 hash), which is what i expect.

BUT, before the 2nd half of the hour completes (say around the 50 minute mark of timing, it seems like the hour subdial is practically at the 01 hash already??? is this normal?
