SCAN DAY : 69 Speedy Pro *PICS*

Hi Guys,

Here's my 1969 Speedmaster. I bought it from the original owner. He had advertised it as a '72 watch, but one of the pics showed that the back didn't have the 70's engraving on it. So I took a risk.

After I won it, the seller explained that he had bought the watch as a new watch in 1972. He couldn't find the original box, but said that it was a "Blue Moon crater box".

When the watch arrived I opened her up & it turns out the case back is stamped 1969. ( Year of the moon landing !! Yee Haa !! ). The bracelet is also stamped '69.

I could change the bezel , but I'm not going to. It's also original to the watch.

Not long after the watch arrived, I found the box.

Here they are :-

Steve
