Hi Steve,
I found out that there appears to have been four different clasps for the omega semaster pre-bond diver watches: 1455/452, 1465/452, 1455/453, 1465/453. All the clasps have the diver extension. On the bracelet extension side for both the 1455 and 1465 clasp series there is an added bracket for locking. On the diver extension side for the 1465 clasps there is again an added bracket for locking while the 1455 clasp series doesn't have an added bracket for locking the diving extension The 1455 clasp series compared to the 1465 clasp series have more pin holes for adjusting the lenght of the bracelet. I think the 1465 series replaced the 1455 series clasps and that maybe the clasps, 1455/452 and 1465/452 were for the full size watches while the 1455/453 and 1465/453 were for the midsize watches(?). It is unclear if the 452 and 453 clasps are interchangable or if they have a different width(?).
Only a WIS could find this post helpful, Lar
