What I found was that he wears the PO until he is on the train heading towords the Casino Royale in Montenegro. He then is wearing the Bond SMP. You can see the Bond bracelet in several exchanges with Vesper. I guess they figured the Bond SMP with the bracelet was a little more elegant for those scenes vs. the PO on a strap. One way to get both watches in the film. Casino Royale ma have been better the second time around!!
