Re: New Omega Homepage & 007 Facts..

: Here is the new Omega home page that opened
: when I went to the site today...and I am not
: complaining.

: Also some facts about Casino Royale vs. Die
: Another Day (gross wise)

: Opening Weekend: Die Another Day:$47,072,040
: Casino Royale:$40,833,156

: Grosses(world wide)
: Die Another Day:$431,971,116
: Casino Royale (so far):$226,317,741

: Production Budget
: Die Another Day:$142 million
: Casino Royale:$150 million

: So thus far, Casino has made its money back and
: then some. It looks good for the revamped
: Bond series and I have yet to hear a really
: bad thing about this movie. Daniel Craig
: turned me into a believer and I look forward
: to the next Bond/Craig flick.

Casino Royale is a very decent flick and Daniel Craig did a fantastic job, although I also liked Pierce Brosnan in the role. Still, they had gotten too "cartoon-like" as John mentioned, so I am glad the producers made the necessary adjustments to make this a viable series again. I didn't realize Nicole Kidman was an Omega Ambassidor. Hopefully the movie tie-ins will give Omega the boost it wants for 2007 in the U.S. Market. I haven't heard what else they have planned except I do understand that they are going to boost advertising spending. Perhaps there will be a run on Omega Watches this year!
