The size might be "overwhelming" at first, but you won't know if its right for you until you wear it a few times. Ive got 6.25" wrists and have both a full size Seamaster Pro and a 42mm Planet Ocean and they wear fine on me. Took a few days to get used to the SMP, but now when I put on smaller watches, they just seem too small for me. Also, the trend these days is to larger watches, and you might be hard pressed to find a chrono with diver features that is less than 42mm. If not for you, then put it up on the sales corner of one of the watch sites. You will take a hit on it, maybe $300 or so, but if its not for you, then lesson learned. Try it on before you buy, always.
