: I'm looking at buying an Omega Seamaster. I
: checked out the Omega watch website, and
: found that the model # for a regular
: Seamaster GMT with a steel bracelet and a
: black dial is 2234.50. But when I researched
: the internet, I'm finding some GMT's with a
: 2534.50, and I can't even find that # on the
: Omega website.
: Can anyone tell me what a 2534.50 is, and what
: is the difference between it and the
: 2234.50?
The 2534.50 was replaced by the 2234.50 in 2003 when Omega decided to keep the Bond style bracelet specifically for Bond watches. The 2234.50 was given the Speedy style bracelet. Likewise, the 2254.50 used to be the 2054.50 when it contained the Bond bracelet. I have no idea why Omega hasn't removed the older models from their website.
