In Response To: Where r u John Rochowitz? ()

: Thanks guys, sometimes i feel like im not
: winding enough and sometimes im worried in
: overwinding. Any suggestions. Where are u
: John Rochowitz, lol.:

I just didn't reply since I don't actually own a Speedy Pro, and I felt that Steve gave you the best answer - just wind it until you feel resistance when turning the crown. I've handled a few Speedy Pro's and I found it pretty easy to determine when the crown was starting to resist additional winding. As long as you stop once you feel this resistance, you don't have to worry about overwinding. You can also choose to wind it up every morning if you feel like it. Leaving it a bit underwound is better than breaking it by trying to be Arnold Scwarzenegger and keep turning the crown until you break something.

Enjoy that Speedy Pro. It is currently on the list as the next Omega I will buy. I live only an hour and a half from Cape Canaveral, so it seems kind of silly for an Omega fan NOT to own one, don't you think????

Cheers,
John
