Low Power Reserve?
In Response To: the time seems to fall behind ()

: i don't know if it's just me, but it seems like
: every so often my watch would be like 5 mins
: behind. I own a double eagle chronometer and
: I wear it everyday. it's only about 6 months
: old too. Thanks alot for the feedback.

Other than the movement being defective, the only other explanation that comes to mind is that your watch may be running on a low power reserve. If you wear the watch daily and you fully wound it when you first got it, then the power reserve should be fine. If you sometimes leave the watch off for a couple of days and then put it back on, it may be running at the low end of its power reserve. A watch tends to slow down and keep poor time as it reaches the bottom of its power reserve.

I'm not sure if that's the case with your watch, but I just thought I'd mention it.

Cheers,
John
