Re: strap on new SMP (2531.80)

: Hi, I'm new here but have a question.
: I just got a Seamaster Pro (2531.80) yesterday.
: (all official, with red box, books, cards etc.)
: The back has the extra high-detail omega/world
: symbol engraving.
: I noticed however after looking at all the
: picures on the net that the strap is
: different from most pictures. It's a 5-step
: instead of a 9-step (if that is how it's
: called).
: Does anybody know when these straps were
: common?
: I've included a picture I made this morning
: Thanks,
: Ted
