Basel is coming soon ... what do you want to see?

Hi Guys,

I'm sure you know, but Basel is coming up soon. Omega will be announcing some new models & in variably this will mean the demise of some of the older models.

I fully expect to see more Co-Ax movements & face-lifts, on the new models, along with some steep price rises ( for the new & improved models - compared to the "older" versions ).

So what would YOU like to see ( I bet Sam wants more titanium ! )

I reckon, the speedy 50th year anniversary will definately be announced ( Chuck already posted the patch )

I'd like to see some more watches that are based on the "classic" design Icons of the 70's.

Given that the Omegamania Auction is close to the Basel date & there is a large amount of publicity being generated, I don't think a "retrospective" view on the new watches will be out of place.

I'd like to see something ridiculous like a flightmaster or PloProf hommage.

Omega makes a lot of publicity with the PloProf, EVERY dive watch fan knows what it is & Omega have AFAIK never tried to cash in on this......

Hmmmm... I have no secret Info, just secret wishes :-)

S.
