International Waranty Card question....

Hello again...it's been a while since I have been here. I wonder if I may pick your brains for some information....

I am curious over what stands to be "Officially correct practise" when it comes to filling out the warranty card. Over here, most of the Omegas I have seen come with the Model and Serial number embossed on them, and the jeweller places the rubber stamp on the area for the jeweller.

Now I am aware that there are cards that have the reverse, i.e., the jewellers name is embossed on it (presumably from Omega) and the dealer writes on in ink the watch's model and serial number.

My question is: Why the disparity and does it make a difference? Is one "style" older or newer than the other? Is one style more "USA" and the other "rest of the world"? I have to say, with my Omegas, the card has the watch's details on from Omega, and the only bits added are the dealer's details and the date. Anyone with some "insider" information as to the why the difference?

I thank you for your knowledge and thoughts.
