You learned an interesting lesson, I think.
I do lots of interviews--a fair number of them which are printed in Q&A form-- and I find that the ones that go best are the ones where I don't work from a detailed list of questions, but just have a vague idea of some subjects I'd like to hit.
I find that I'm actually listening to the person I'm interviewing, and the next question flows naturally from the previous answer.
I'll look forward to seeing (finding, more to the point) the issue of IW.
