Re: Can anyone recommend an AD?

: Hi Rich,
: No I want to purchase a womens Constellation
: watch for personal use. It is just that
: there are a few different ones I really
: like.
: So if I decided to sell the one that I purchase
: to buy another, would buying it from an AD
: make it be possible to get at least my money
: back or even a little profit?
: Thankyou!

Absolutely not. You will only lose money if you buy a watch and then decide you don't like it. Once you buy it and put it on your wrist, it technically becomes "used" (the same way a new car becomes used the second you drive it off the lot). If you kept the watch in absolute pristine condition and sold it almost immediately after purchase, you might get 60% of retail back on it. Since you'll never find an AD who will give you a 40% discount on the watch, you will certainly lose money.

If I were you, I'd go to an AD that has the models you like and try them all on. Really take your time and consider which one looks best to you. That's the only way to avoid losing money if you decide to sell one watch to buy another.

Good luck,
John
