: All -

: Lots of great info here. I'm looking at buying
: my first Omega, a new PO 2901.50.91 - this
: is the 42mm model (the 45mm model looks like
: a hockey puck on my skinny wrist).

: I tried the watch on at a local AD here in
: southern California. The guy behind the
: counter said the new co-axial movement on
: the Omegas only needs servicing every 10-12
: yrs (vs 5 for Rolex), another selling point
: that has biased me towards Omega.

: Please email me the contact info for the
: "favorite AD of the forum". I'm
: looking to see if I can get a price break
: for purchasing the watch out of state.

: Thanks in advance!

I just sent you an e-mail with a referral. However, the 10-12 years claim from your "guy behind the counter" is a joke. Omega now claims 6-8 years for co-axial watches. At one time Omega did claim 10 years, but they never claimed 12 years.

Good luck,
John
