Hi everyone,

in the pic below, the dial is depicted of my newBond chrono (2225.80).

As you can see, I run the second hand a few seconds ahead in order to see more precisely the minutechrono-hand.

That doesn't look right...

According to your experience, is the minute handmisaligned?

It does not look properly aligned, so no. The hour register hand looks fine, and could serve as comparision.

When I see the watch directly, I can determine avery small tilt, that is less than a degree.

That's a good description.

When the first minute passes, the minute hand is placed exactly over the first marker in order to indicate that first minute. So no problems at the other positions ofthe hand.

Sounds like maybe there is a gear or a detent which is malformed in some way.

Am I too far-fetched about it or I have to go andfix it?

What I would recommend is contacting your dealer, via phone and say that a problem has developed with your new purchase, and you'll be coming in with it. Bring everything that came with the watch, show the probelms and calmly, politely ask that they swap it out with another example. They may wish to have you wait for Omega to repair it, insist that they do a swap, because it's obviously a defect and you shouldn't have to wait to wear your new watch while it's in for repair. Be calm, polite but firm. If they continue to resist say that you would be happy to accept instead a full and complete refund. If they balk at that, mention you'll call your credit card company and see what they say or can do.

Remember you want to be polite and not make a scene [which your dealer should appreciate] but you bought a watch which should be aligned and operating properly.

Any inputs would be really appreciated.
