Omega Skeleton Watch

I have what appears to be an Omega Skeleton Watch, large size 50mm across. The previous owner claimed this was a vintage 1908 Omega, Swiss Silver. The watch has no serial number visible on the movement, either the front or back. The outer back cover has a number stamped on the inside surface: 4734696 and below that the number 3. The front and back of the movement are visible thru glass or crystal. The back has an outer cover that rides against the wrist and an inner cover that covers the movement. That inner cover bears the inscription OMEGA then a row of inscribed coin images. Below that the words "Grand Prix" and below that "Paris 1900". Photos:

I am trying to determine if this is an authentic Omega.
Thanks
Bill
