That's an interesting picture Scott. Thanks for posting it.

Here's my 145.022-69

Here's the eBay watch ( & probably VERY close to Statts watch )

these bezels are NOT the same ( apart from the 200 / 220 markings ). On mine the Dot at the 70 marker is at the bottom right corner of the zero. On the Ebay watch it is halfway up the zero. ( it's a little bit difficult to see the 70 dot on my watch )

The Dot at the 90 marker is also in a slightly different position.

Mine has an accent above the 1st E in TACHYMÈTRE. The eBay watch doesn't.

Looking at the Bezel markings shown in the Book "Omega Masters". I can see that both are listed as being available in 1969. Mine is the older version that was phased out in '69 & the "non-Accent" version was introduced in '69.

Funnily enough though , my serial number is newer that Statts , but older than the eBay watch.

So, from the serial number, my watch falls between the 2 "220 Bezel" examples that we have, but mine has the older bezel.

Statts, I read in another post (in this thread ) that your are also a '69er - along with your watch - I'd love to have a '62 to match my birth year, but given the prices of older Speedies, I think it is well out of my price range now :-(

Enjoy your watch & once again, thanks for opening our eyes to this.

Steve
