Hello Manolo, interesting experience you had. As for my watch after I posted the note it began to tick again and has not stopped (yet). I recently read in a watch time magazine that Omega has come with a second and third generation of the coaxial design in part because of the problems the first generation (like mine) had. I find hard to understand the claim that the problem lies in a lube problem since the design itself is based on the premise of no or almost no lubricant needed. I am taking a close look to my watch performance.
Regarding your request for a leather strap for the watch let me tell you that a bought one (omega brand) for only 30 USD (it is lizzard of course)and the original omega buckle from www.ofrei.com
They also carry alligator straps but will not ship it outside the US
