: Below are 3 of the 2500A models. One of them
: (YG) has had this problem for years -- you
: really have to smack it pretty hard to
: jump-start it, after which it's fine. The
: other 2 (RG & PT) have not exhibited
: this problem. However, both the RG and YG
: pieces went back to Bienne several times
: shortly after I purchased them new around
: 1999.

: I have heard the same thing about Omega's now
: replacing the 2500A with the 2500C movement.

:

Awesome collection!! Do you still have all of the pieces?

Some collectors are concerned about the loss of one of the original movements (2500A) if they send their watches to Bienne.

The 2500C/2828C is an odd bird with the 7 beats a second, slightly less smooth than 8 beats, but a better timekeeper.

Got any more pics?

Sam
