Re: Opinion/Thought/Recommendation on these please

: Hi Everyone,

: i'm looking to purchase my first automatic
: watch and have shortlisted the following:
: SMP Co-Axial 2220.8 or 2222.8
: SM Aqua Terra 2503.33
: De Ville Co-Axial Chronometer 4831.31.32
: De Ville Co-Axial GMT 4833.31.32
: Rolex Datejust

: Currently i'm leaning towards the Aqua Terra
: b/c it's the cheapest, but i like the fresh
: look of the GMT or the Chronometer. I have
: seen the SMP, and very impress with the fit
: & finish.

: Should i spend a bit more for the De Ville? Is
: there any known issues with the cal. 2628?

: I haven't seen the Datejust, but will intend to
: visit one fo the AD to try it on.

: I currently own a vintage Omega Art Collection,
: which i've had it for 15 years...a gorgeous
: watch and still love it!

: Your help will be much appreciated.

: Thanks

I own a Seamaster Aqua Terra, which has a Co Axial movement. It is the medium sized one(39.2mm)with the white dial, and blue hour markers. It is a beautiful piece and I love it. I have never had any problems with it since 2003 the year it came out, and I got it. I like it more than my datejust because it has a bigger case and is less common. I get compliments on it all the time. It is simple but very classic!
