Can anyone tell me about this, Long sorry.

I was given a watch that belonged to my grandfather. It's an Omega (of course)and I was wondering if anyone here could tell me about it from a description (I can't take good watch pics worth a darn). I do know it was made in 1964, serial number range. It's a gents model. Auto wind with date. 35mm across (incl crown). Made of 10k gold with a gold colored face, only Omega Automatic and the symbol on the face. It has a inscription on the back from when grandfather retired. When I opened it I saw F69444 KL6312 17 Jewels and 560 on the movement. I also saw what looked like an J with an arrow thru it on the case back and jewelers initials.
Sorry this is so long I was just curious if anybody had any ideas. It works and keeps ok time if I wear it and being 40 plus years old looks pretty good. Someday I will probably have it completely restored. Thanks
