Re: Seamaster 2589.30
In Response To: Seamaster 2589.30 ()

: I am considering an Omega Seamaster Pro 1000ft. Special Edition
: 2589.30.

Why this model?

: Any opinions on this particular watch?

Haven't noticed this one in particular, but I'm more of a vintage guy.

: Price range?

Well, that depends. At an AD, if the model was not in high demand, you should be able to negotiate a 30% discount or pay 70% of MSRP. Gray market (no Omega warranty, but a new watch) good prices will be around 60-65% of MSRP. Models that sold well, move those percentages up.

Preowned, purchasing here or on one of the other watch forums, the prices will range from 50 to 80% of MSRP.

: Contact information on an AD would also be greatly appreciated.

Can't tell you if this watch would be in an AD. It does not seem to be a current model, but I don't know how long ago it was discontinued or how many were produced.

: Thanks,

: Ron
