Winders are generally unnecessary. I have winders for those watches that do not have quickset dates or have difficult to set complications. I may go weeks without wearing a particular watch.

Your watch has at least a 40 hour "power reserve" and will not run down overnight. If it is your only watch, and you wear your watch daily, you don't need a winder. If you wear another watch and go a couple of days without wearing your 300M, you may want the winder for the convenience. However, my 300M is easy to set, so it is not on a winder.

If you buy one, buy a good one. Buying a cheap one just means you will be buying more than one in less than a year.
