Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. | Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings. |
Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
: I have for sale an Omega Seamaster Chronograph
: 'America's Cup' in titanium, tantalum and
: 18k red gold (model no. 2294.50).
:
: This model has been discontinued for some
: time, and even when it was still in
: production it was uncommon due to its high
: price relative to other Seamaster
: chronographs. In addition this special
: edition model carries the 'America's Cup'
: label on the dial, as opposed to the depth
: rating found on regular Seamaster
: chronographs.
:
: The bezel of this watch is tantalum - it has a
: blue-grey tone compared to the grey of the
: titanium case - while the bezel insert and
: pushers are in red gold. All 3 metals
: complement each other very well, resulting
: in striking watch. The photo below displays
: the colour of the tantalum bezel.
:
: In addition to the striking combination of
: case materials, this watch uses the cal.
: 3303 movement, instead of the cal. 3301
: found in most other Seamaster chronographs.
: Although both are the same in terms of
: construction, the cal. 3303 found here is
: finished to a higher level, sporting Geneva
: stripes and perlage. In contrast the cal.
: 3301 has a simple matte grained finish.
:
:
: This watch is in near mint condition, having
: been worn only a handful of times. There is
: however, a small nick on the lower edge of
: the case; the nick is miniscule and it is
: circled in the photo below.
: Please let me know if the watch is still available.
Thanks,
Jim
: All packaging is present - box, instruction
: booklet, as well as the warranty, model and
: pic cards. The warranty card is unstamped.
: The titanium bracelet has been sized for a
: 6.5 inch wrist, but all extra links are
: present.
:
: I'm selling this watch because I already own
: its predecessor, the ref. 2296.80 (with
: Valjoux 7750) and have decided to keep that
: instead of this one.
: Retail on this watch while it was still being
: made was $6100. I'm asking $3590 plus
: shipping. I'm located in Singapore, and have
: lots of references available. I can be
: reached at su_jiaxianNOSPAM@hotmail.com
: (remove NOSPAM).
