I understand your message , but I don't really understand your analogy.

Grey marketing is acceptable in the eyes of the law here. We have parallel imports even for cars like mercedes , notebooks computers just to name a few. Like it or not, it is up to the consumer to decide who they wish to buy from.

And come to purchasing of pre-owned goods, I also think it is up to the consmer again to decide.At the end of the day, it is him who decide how to maximise his satisfaction out of the resources he has.

Nobody buys perishable/disposable products second hand. Hard to compare watches with condom. And buying pre-owned or PI is also not comparable to playing Russia roulette. I will not die if I purchase inferior or fake products.

I am sure there are a lot of members out there that has purchased pre-owned watches and enjoying them.
