I think Omega have a history of this..

Hi Guys,

I think Omega have a history advertising "boobs".

click on the pics for larger versions

Here's an example from 1969. read the description about the subdials... there is no 60 minute subdial on a Speedy !

Here's one from 1985... (the german says "When Neil Armstrong was the first person to set foot on the moon, he was wearing a speedmaster" )

Another one here.. ( the watch is showing 22:08, the 24hr indicator is showing 00:00 )

There's also a recent one showing a speedmaster Pro with a Helium Valve ! ( I don't have a scan of this but will do one soon )

So what's my point here ? Omega has a history of making mistakes in their literature.

That they doctor pictures is also not new news.

Look at Ralf Schumacher in this pic ( he's in the middle in a yellow racing suit )

See he's wearing a YELLOW "Schumacher" on HIS right wrist & a RED one on HIS left wrist.

Now look at this pic..

Nothing on his right wrist & the watch on his left wrist is now Yellow !

Need an "old" example ? Check out the seamaster in the middle picture. It has clearly been added afterwards.

However the "New batch" of errors really are much better than the old ones. Optimists may argue that it is an improvement in the quality of the errors :-)

I don't think any Railmaster chrono's made it onto the market.

Does anyone know if the Tissot has been sold with this bezel ? or is ot just an advertising / prototype mistake ?

Steve
