Just to clarify, there are no dents. Only scuff marks and scratches. From viewing the way they work, they seem to first take the bracelet off very quickly and put it on a tray (one that does not fit the watch so its riding high on edges while they are carrying it around. And from the scuff marks, it looks like the technician just yanked it out quickly (I have never seen what the mechanism looks like so I do not know it it needs to be loosened first).
I can not post pictures since they have the watch and they have had it for most of the three plus months I have had the watch.
I wonder if they will start a new warranty card for me.
What irks me is they tried a few times to either say it was my fault, or that this is normal. But the killer was when they tried to convince me that the warranty was over - HA!
In their defense though, as it was clear I was not backing down, they said they will try to get it cleaned up and if they can not ( I am pretty sure I heard this) they said they will replace it.
I will try and update in about a weeks time when I am supposed to get the watch back.
I would like to hear from anyone else if they have had similar problems with their service department regarding Omega and any other brands, particluarly Breitling as I will be purchasing another watch soon. I have definitley ruled out another Omega, but I do hope I can at least keep this one since I do like it.
Thanks for your replies and please keep them coming.
