Re: Practice makes perfect....
In Response To: Practice makes perfect.... ()

You must have a lot of practice, I would not have been observant enough to notice the first one is fake.
Tell me what gave it away for you? This is what I noticed:
1. Text "Omega" and logo appears to be too "bolded"
2. 300m/1000ft appears to be too big but I can't really tell this one due to the relative sizes and the angle of the picture
3. White outer box looks different than mine (which would make me skeptical; however I do not know if there is another older version)
4. The glow-in-the-dark picture, only the hands glow, not the hour markers
5. The serial number is on 11 o'clock position instead of 7, and it its too noticely engraved (mine I need a magnifying glass to recognize numbers)
6. Hour hand has too big of a point on it
7. After another look ... ALL writting on the watch looks too bolded but again I am not sure

What did I miss? But again, I would probably have not noticed most of those things had I not been looking .... In person it would probably be a whole different story, however, guys that sell fakes represented as genuine products probably do not honor return policies either :S

Again, Nice catch!
Josh.

: Here are some more fakes that I reported that
: are currently on ebay. Hopefully they'll be
